Support Colorectal Cancer Research in Honor and Memory of Dr. Rachel Permuth
Dr. Rachel Permuth courageously fought her battle with colorectal cancer for nearly 2 1/2 years. Throughout her aggressive treatments she never gave in. Even while battling cancer, Rachel managed to start her own successful business venture as the Chief Executive Officer of Epidemiology and Behavioral Sciences Consultants and raise her teenage son, Nate. Rachel's family, friends, former coworkers, and colleagues have continuously admired her compassion, perseverance, and determination to help others while still battling this disease. The legacy of Dr. Rachel Permuth will live on through the countless individuals that she inspired and the lives that she has touched.
All money raised will go directly to supporting colorectal cancer research at Moffitt Cancer Center and will be used with oversight provided by her sister, Dr. Jennifer Permuth, the Vice Chair of Research in Gastrointestinal Oncology at Moffitt. A fund will be formally named in Rachel's honor and memory, allowing her name to be attached to specific projects, grants, and manuscripts in the acknowledgement and funding sources, and providing another opportunity for Rachel's name to continue to live on in current and future initiatives.
Thank you in advance for supporting this important initiative that is attempting to discover ways to increase quality of life and extend and save the lives of individuals and families battling colorectal cancer.
