Rachel's Personal Page
Along with the amazing medical staff at Moffitt Cancer Center, I'm doing my part towards the fight against cancer, and I need your help!
Moffitt Cancer Center has made a personal impact on my family. In 2013, my dad was diagnosed with a large meningioma, which is a benign brain tumor. He was treated at Moffitt, where he received phenomenal treatment by the surgeon and his staff. While the tumor was removed completely, he still receives ongoing treatment, in the form of a yearly checkup. Moffitt is second to none in patient follow up!
On Saturday, December 8, 2018, I'm participating in the 13th annual Miles for Moffitt run/walk event. Every dollar of my registration fee … and every dollar my fundraising efforts bring in … goes completely to support lifesaving cancer research at Moffitt Cancer Center. Moffitt researchers are at the very front lines of the effort to defeat cancer. They've already made so many amazing breakthroughs, and cancer patients here in Florida and around the world have benefited from their efforts.
But there's so much MORE work to do. So many MORE lives still to be saved!
That's why I'm asking you to support me in my Miles for Moffitt run. Whether you can give $10 or $1,000, every penny will help bring closer the day when cancer is beaten. Please do what you can to help. Thank you so much for your support!
