Kate's Fight to End Cancer
I'm working to end cancer … and I need your help!
Two years I relocated from Brooklyn to Tampa for a position at Moffitt Cancer Center, where I'm fortunate enough to work alongside amazing people who are making a difference and saving lives.
This community of courage is incredibly meaningful to me after my Aunt Kelly fought valiantly, but eventually lost her battle with cancer in 2016. Seeing the bravery it takes for patients and their families to face this disease, I admire the hope and strength that Moffitt and its people inspire, and know that together we can beat cancer.
It is my sincerest hope that with this effort, one day, no patient or their loved ones will have to experience this terrible disease, and I want to do everything I can to help make that happen. I hope you will support me in fundraising for this year's Miles for Moffitt on Saturday, December 8, 2018.
Every dollar goes completely towards supporting lifesaving cancer research at Moffitt Cancer Center. As one of the top-ranked cancer centers in the country, Moffitt researchers are at the very front lines of the effort to defeat cancer. They've already made so many amazing breakthroughs, and cancer patients here in Florida and around the world have benefited from their efforts.
But we're not stopping - there's so much more work to do and so many more lives still to be saved.
That's why I'm asking you to support me in my Miles for Moffitt efforts. Whether you can give $10 or $1,000, every penny will help bring closer the day when cancer is overcome. I hope you will do what you can to help me, so together, we can be stronger than cancer.
