Flock Ovarian Cancer

I'm working to end cancer … and I need your help!

On Saturday, December 8, 2018, I'm participating in the 13th annual Miles for Moffitt run/walk event. One hundred percent of proceeds from this event go completely to support lifesaving cancer research at Moffitt Cancer Center. Moffitt researchers are at the very front lines of the effort to defeat cancer. They've already made so many amazing breakthroughs, and cancer patients here in Florida and around the world have benefited from their efforts.

But there's so much MORE work to do. So many MORE lives still to be saved!

I have been part of Miles for Moffitt for 12 years. On our first year, I was team captain for Jack’s Rabbits. We were 23 people strong. I was inspired by one of our patients wives who did the entire 3 miles in a rabbit suit. It was May in Florida! What courage that woman showed.

Fast forward to February 14, 2017. My non-specific symptoms turned out to be ovarian cancer. Ovarian cancers and Gyn cancers overall need more attention and research. Most women are diagnosed in late stages and the treatment options have limited success. That's why I'm asking you to support me in my Miles for Moffitt run/walk. Whether you can give $10 or $1,000, every penny will help bring closer the day when cancer is no longer a threat. Please do what you can to help. Thank you so much!
