2019 Miles for Moffitt

Welcome to TUMORBUSTERS team page!

Our team was formed by Junior Scientists at Moffitt Cancer Center who've made contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer their life-long mission. We are a diverse group of individuals who've come from all walks of life with varied academic and ethinc backgrounds, collectively we span the entire breadth of cancer research spectrum.

On Saturday, November 23, 2019, Our team of Moffitt researchers are participating in the 14th annual Miles for Moffitt run/walk event. Witness junior scientists pull up their socks and pound the pavement for a cause that's close to our hearts. All proceeds go completely to support lifesaving cancer research at Moffitt Cancer Center.

We intend to approach this endeavor with the same enthusiasm and comaraderie emodied by the Moffitt Postdoctoral Association (MPDA). To that end, we are starting the TUMORBUSTERS run club to help motivate each other. Come join us, every Thursday at 6 PM, as we tour the beautiful USF campus.

Inspite of being initiated by postdoctoral fellows, research scientists, and graduate students, our team is open to anyone who strives to further Moffitt's mission. Anyone who envisions to live in a cancer-free world. A survivor. A care giver. A patient advocate.

Join the TUMORBUSTERS, together, lets run towards a world without cancer.
