Challenge update on October 23: 90 days, 90 5K's!
******************************
On Saturday, October 24, I'm participating in the 15th annual Miles for Moffitt (M4M), a community-wide movement of inspiration, courage, and hope that raises funds for cancer research at Moffitt Cancer Center.
Please join me in raising funds by joining my team (Data Dashers) or donating in support of my participation. Whether you can give $5 or $50 or $500, every dollar helps support Moffitt's mission - to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer.
Toward this goal, I started a self-challenge on July 26. With 90 days until race day, my goal was to run 5K (or more) every day (450 kilometers, 279 miles). For every day I miss, I will donate another $5 to M4M. I am hopeful that those supporting my participation will use this self-challenge to calculate a donation amount (50 cents/day? 10 cents/kilometer? 10 cents/mile?).
