2021 Miles for Moffitt

PanCreate A Cure

This year, we are participating in Miles for Moffitt and moving for what matters - love, courage, and finding the cures to cancer and in honor of my sister Judy Bryant.  On September 9th, 2019 she was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer.  She lived in Birmingham AL and began chemo at a cancer center just 5 days after her diagnosis. She had surgery, more chemo and radiation and participated in a clinical trial.  Living so far away from Judy did not stop me from being with her throughout her battle with this terrible disease.  She was so courageous and always amazed me with her selflessness.  So many times she would say "I can't imagine anyone going through this without family support".  She felt so blessed to have her wonderful husband and caregiver JC and sisters by her side always.  She said when she got better she was going to volunteer to offer support for cancer patients that did not have family support.  She would have been an awesome support person and volunteer. She passed away on November 22, 2020 ending her pain and suffering.  Judy "B" as we called her was the strongest woman I have ever known and fought hard to the very end of her life.  On November 20, 2021 I will participate in the Miles for Moffitt walk. I invite you to join the team PanCreate A Cure. Our contributions will make a difference in the fight to find a cure.

The team ask for your support as we fundraise for cancer research at Moffitt Cancer Center.

Research at Moffitt results in new clinical trials and new treatments that help improve the lives of those touched by cancer.

Whether you can give $10 or $1,000, every dollar matters to supporting Moffitt's mission - to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer.

Thank you for your support and being an important part of the Miles for Moffitt community!
