Move for What Matters! 6 miles for 6 years <3
This year, I'm participating in Miles for Moffitt and moving for what matters - love, courage, and finding the cures to cancer.
We have all been touched by cancer in some way. Many of you know that my "why" is my bestie Betsy Rose Batish, The Cancer Fighting Cowgirl, who we lost to Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma all too soon in 2015.
In honor of the 6th anniversary of Betsy's passing, I have registered for Moffitt Cancer Center's annual Miles for Moffitt fundraiser to raise money for life-saving cancer research. This year I will be participating in the 10K race or 6 miles- one mile in memory of each year. As a swimmer, I would rather swim a mile than run one any day, but this is a cause I truly believe in and worth every step forward!
But that's not all! In addition to Betsy, I'm going to dedicate every mile and every step in honor and memory of those who have battled cancer. And I need your help! I'm asking for your support as I fundraise for cancer research at Moffitt Cancer Center. Research at Moffitt results in new clinical trials and new treatments that help improve the lives of those touched by cancer.
Please join me in raising funds for patients, families, survivors, and caregivers by joining my team or making a gift to my personal fundraising page. Whether you can give $6 or $600, every dollar matters to supporting Moffitt's mission - to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer. With your help, we WILL find a cure.
Thank you for your support and being an important part of the Miles for Moffitt community!
