Welcome to my Miles For Moffitt 5K fundraiser!

I need your help!
On Saturday, October 24 at 10:30am, I'm participating in the 15th annual Miles for Moffitt Race by running a 5K. Miles for Moffitt is a community-wide event to raise critical funds for cancer research at Moffitt Cancer Center.
My husband Brian is a brain cancer survivor thanks to Moffitt! He had surgery, radiation and chemo over 2 years ago. He is still going to Moffitt for regular checkups and taking an experimental drug that is working for him. Brian is doing well :)
This year, due to COVID, Miles for Moffitt is a virtual event which means the race is not taking place in a particular location. Every participant can run/walk anywhere. I will run on the Upper Tampa Bay Trail, starting at the Lutz Lake Fern Rd parking lot. And I hope that you can come! I invite you to run/walk 5K with me :)
Just to be clear, you will not have to attend an event with a huge crowd. You will just meet me and some friends. I will run the 5K. You can walk it if running is not your thing. Bring a mask that you can put on if you happen to cross other hikers on the trail. We will be hanging out for a bit at the trail head after the 5K to chat and catch up :) To be safe, bring your own water and snacks.

Please help me raise funds for Moffitt by making a donation to my personal fundraising page. You can also register yourself as a runner. Whether you can give $5 or $1,000, every dollar is critical to supporting Moffitt's mission - to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer.
Thank you for your support!
