Courage brings us together. Nothing can tear us apart.
On Saturday, October 24, our team is participating in the 15th annual Miles for Moffitt...and we need your help! Miles for Moffitt is a community-wide movement of inspiration, courage, and hope that allows our community to come together to raise critical funds for cancer research at Moffitt Cancer Center.
Due to COVID/social distancing guidelines, this race will not be taking place in Tampa so we will be utilizing our own beautiful Robinson Preserve as our race day backdrop. Please plan to meet at the front entrance off of 17th Ave NW and we will start the race/run/jog/walk(whichever you prefer) at 10:00am. Plan to meet up afterwards at Motorworks Brewing for kid-friendly drinks and celebration.
This will be our third year participating in this event in remembrance of Rory Zinna, who was an incredible father, son, brother, husband, uncle, cousin, and friend. He battled osteosarcoma with courage and faith. His last days were spent in Moffitt’s care with his family and friends. We will be forever grateful for the loving care he received. We are grateful to be given each day as we know it is not promised. It is our mission to bring awareness to Osteosarcoma, to live our lives with intention, and to strive to always be Rory-strong.
Please join us in raising funds for Moffitt patients, families, survivors, and caregivers by joining our team or making a gift to our team or a participant on our team. Whether you can give $10 or $1,000, every dollar is critical to supporting Moffitt's mission - to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer.
Thank you for your support and being an important part of the Miles for Moffitt community.
