On the Brink

Matt Swartzlander was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother, friend, and nurse.  As he battled cancer, he continued to work tirelessly as a nurse at Moffitt Cancer Center providing comfort, care, and empathy to those fighting their own battles.  He quietly fought three cancers in his short lifetime, never wavering nor complaining.  April 2, 2020, Matt lost his battle, but his memory and determination live on as we run/walk to honor him and fight for new treatments and a cure.

This year, our team is participating in Miles for Moffitt and moving for what matters - love, courage, and finding the cures to cancer.

We are asking for your support as we fundraise for cancer research at Moffitt Cancer Center.

Research at Moffitt results in new clinical trials and new treatments that help improve the lives of those touched by cancer.

Please join us in raising funds for patients, families, survivors, and caregivers by joining our team or making a gift to our team fundraising page. Whether you can give $10 or $1,000, every dollar matters to supporting Moffitt's mission - to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer.

Thank you for your support and being an important part of the Miles for Moffitt community!
